Obama’s Record

After a few days of listening to the various talking heads complaining about Ryan and his nefarious plans to become the overlord of SPECTRE and achieve world control, I thought it might be useful to take a look at Obama’s lesser known achievements. After all, Chris Matthews has called him the perfect man and perfect father.

And, for the most part, these are, at best, tangential to his economic record, which has been beaten to death. Much like the average American.

Since taking office Obama has:

Opposed gay marriage in 2009 and reaffirmed his position in 2010. When he finally flipped on his position in 2011, he stated that he was still “grappling” with his personal views on gay marriage. It strikes me that all of those people claiming that Obama is so much better than Bush was, and that he would reverse all the “bad” things that Bush did, ought to give a little more thought to which policies they support and which person they pick to support them.

Of course, if you only vote based on your pocketbook, I guess you could vote for Obama. That is, if you don’t pay attention to his economic record.
